Other Small Group Ministries
Our Small Group ministries here at Laingsburg United Methodist Church are designed to help our members grow in their faith and spirituality. Gathering together in small groups is a practice that goes back all the way to the first Christians nearly 2000 years ago. Together, our small groups pray, discuss their faith and hopes, and enjoy their time and interests together. If you are interested in learning about any of the following small groups, please contact the church office to be connected with their various coordinators.
Prayer Group
Each Sunday, at aproximately 9:40, a group of church members gather in the church's library to share in a short time of prayer. Everyone is welcome to add to the prayers any joy or concern they have. This is a no-pressure group who is there simply to life one another and the church in prayer. All are welcome to come.
United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith is a local group of women who are passionate about Christian mission and service. They meet at the church on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10am and welcome any other women who might like to come and join them.
The UWF's Purpose Statement:
United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Quilters
The quilting group here at Laingsburg UMC is sponsored by the United Women in Faith and invites all who have a passion and/or interest in quilting to come and participate in making quilts for ministry, mission, and the joy of the art. The quilters meet in the church's Fellowship Hall on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 10:00am.
Second Sunday Breakfast Club
On the Second Sunday of each month, the church gathers in the Fellowship Hall at 9 am to enjoy a hearty breakfast and a time of fellowship before worship. The breakfast is free and open to all!
