As a congregation, we want to extend our gratitude for your willingness to begin the process of becoming certified to serve as an adult worker under our Safe Sanctuary Protection Policy. We've worked hard to make this a policy that takes into account the unique nature of volunteering in the church, as well as the need to protect both the workers and the participants.
To complete the training, you will need to do the following:
- Open and Read the Application Instruction Letter
- Complete and submit the "Child/Youth Protection Worker Application"
- Complete the "Authorization and Request for Criminal Records Check"
- Review the Protection Policy document and watch the 30 minute training video provided on this web page. (A printed copy of the protection policy can be obtained in the LUMC office).
- Following the video, please print and complete the Protection Policy Training Assessment.
- Finally, you will need to print the Participation Covenant Statement, sign it.
