Why are we doing ministry at the bar?
Well, there's a long answer and a short answer. The short answer is, "why not?" The longer answer is this: we believe (strange as it may seem) that church doesn't and can't happen just within the confines of the church building. In fact, in the Bible, Jesus tells us to "go out." And so, we leave the church building and hang out at the bar, doing ministry there, too!
Time: 5 pm - 7 pm
Date: 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month
Place: Varies, Laingsburg, MI
Facilitator: Carrie Rathbun Hawks
THE CORE is a group of energetic and amazing youth, grades 6th - 12th, who are learning about their faith, God's love for them, and how they can help to make this world a little better for themselves and others.

About the Choir
Our Chapelaire Choir is the weekly choral ensemble for our Sunday Worship Services. Singing 2 and 4-part harmonies, they bring a wonderfully artistic element to a spiritually rich worship service.
Jan Holyfield, Volunteer Director
Jan Holyfield is currently our volunteer director of the Chapelaire Choir. Jan is always looking for new singers who love to share the gift of music. All ages and voice parts are welcome! The Chapelaire Choir practices on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.
About Faith Ringers
Faith Ringers, our adult handbell choir, is made up of individuals who love the beautiful music of handbells and love to offer that gift as an act of worship. The Faith Ringers play on the 2nd Sunday of every month and practice that morning at 9:45 am.
Summer Stevens, Volunteer Director
Summer is always looking to add ringers to the bell choir. She will gladly help even the newest beginner learn how to read music and ring the beautiful music.
About A Joyful Noise Bells
This all-age bell choir is less of an organized "choir," and more of a group of kids, parents and other adults of all ages, who love to make a joyful noise. From time to time, the Joyful Noise Bells will be played and everyone is invited to help make this wonderful music. No need to practice or to be able to read music. We ring along with recorded music and with the guide of color coded flash cards, and have a blast doing it! We always encourage anyone and everyone
